Starlight in the mid of day

Iskata sat there watching the world before them a moment before she settling in picking hay from the floor of the loft, a distant smile on her lips as she watched the shephard before them. He was the master of the meadow and he let the world know that. Iskata wasn't about to challenge him to that, knowing that he did indeed rule the fields, though the council ruled the pack. She learned from watching the beast, though she wasn't crazy enough to speak to another of how she learned from her prey. Anyone could respect the food the mother earth gave them but few really cared beyond that, maybe she was weak for doing thus but she didn't care.

The silver and gold lady didn't meant to push the roles of the packmembers on the newcomer, just to show her all the differences in skills and knowledge of the others. She smiled as she turned back to Anu, the words of the lady filling her with joy at the fact that she wanted to be of help to the family. She nodded and asked. "What would you like to do, Anu?" she asked as she heard the lowing of the cattle below.

Turning her eyes to the beasts she sighed and and admitted to the newest packmember. "Yes. Once we lived across the mountains but a fire drove the packs here. Not one of the original packs stayed true to their roots.. I only hope that we can remember that we're more than just a pack.. we're family." She wasn't trying to lecture the lady but Iskata had been a little hurt to come across the mountains and learn that her pack was no more and spread across the new world was no real home left for her. She had to make her own but atleast in the end it had been worth it.
