Terra fidgeted around, sitting on the ground. This was difficult to speak about. Approaching the fact that she was pregnant was bad enough, but the fact that she needed a place to stay was even worse. The coyote hadn't been able to go up the stairs into her room since being told by Strel about how worn down it was. Without a good idea of what signs accompanied a collapse, Terra had ended up in a complete puddled panic.
I... For someone normally so confident in her actions, this was harder than she had thought. Fear was driving her mad, normal actions taking even longer to accomplish as she saw in her mind all the things that could possibly go wrong. I'm carrying pups. I didn't know it would happen. I didn't want pups, not without a mate! I don't have one though, and the hotel isn't safe... The fears babbled out, completely beyond her control.
