It is! Big Grin

Even though the man had weapons and wore clothes he seemed to be frightened of her with calmed the silver fae, even if just a bit. It meant that she was in control of this situation, as she should be being close to New Dawn's borders. Poor man. If he had met her before the meeting with Zalen and before the second encounter with Amy, he would have thought her charming and engaging. She could see the panic in his eyes and usually that alone would be enough for her to quit being so stern, but not today.

Her eyes pinned to the hilt of his sword as his fingers slowly lifted, one by one. She held her breath as he did so to thinking that he might draw his weapon at the last moment and attack her. She finally breathed when the hand was off the sword completely, her head dropping slightly from how tense she had been before. She continued to glare at him, nodding to his question. This was definitely more reassuring. She even noticed his eyes dart away from hers and she held her head higher. He obviously knew who was in charge here and respected her wishes. The man seemed sincere in his words but said them in a joking manner. It was weird to her and she didn't know whether to believe him or not, though his eyes said she should. What were the chances that Amy sent spies to their borders. She knew Amy was strong, but was she really that smart and careful?

By this point, Fayne truly wanted to believe the man and give him a rest. The least she could do for now was to hear him out. Fayne stayed quiet and simply listened to him explain his situation. His sarcasm wasn't appreciated and she responded with a small snarl. The least he could do was be serious with her. He pleaded, putting his hands out in front of him as if to push her away. She jerked her head back and listened again. He said he meant no harm. The small silver fae tilted her head and stared at him, trying her best to judge if he was truthful or not. From what she saw he passed her inspection but that didn't mean he was welcomed anywhere near the borders. She would let him rest for now but would be weary of him. Optime form was a shift away and she would be able to fight him off, hopefully with ease. He protested and blamed her anger on other unimportant things. The suggestive words had her looking at him with surprised eyes. That is certainly not what she meant, Fayne would never judge anyone on their blood or origins. New Dawn might be a pack for those who have mostly wolf blood. But, I'm not one to judge. I'm just concerned for my family's safety. Fayne sighed and sat herself down, gazing over at him with kinder eyes. You shouldn't put words in others' mouths. Is that what you think of yourself? She felt for him, the caring fae breaking through the cold and distrusting persona she felt she needed to keep. Yup, she was definitely a Delta.
