The water covered both of the scents fairly well but as he approached there was no mistaking the smell. Terra was in heat. Pausing in his steppes, a few feet from the women, Jazper attempted to ignore the smell. He didn’t know if the coyote had a mate but it was clear from her scent that a male had already been with her very recently. The Sole’s thoughts went wild at the mixed smells, his instincts going crazy. It was always very difficult for him to control himself around such a smell and he often avoided females in heat the best he could or reminded himself of their partners.

He hadn’t had a steady mate in a year now, and although Sebastian certainly knew his way around the coal male’s body, he craved the flesh of a female. It had been a long time since Jazper had been with a female and he certainly preferred their body to a male. He was attracted to men because of his urge to dominate, there was very little he could do to control himself if a male sexually challenged him and he admitted that any touch sexually felt good but there was something about a female’s curves, their breasts, their long mane and that scent that drove a male to lose his senses.
