Call to Hunt
#7
Tharin paced along the shores, the elk shivering as the water pushed against it. Occasionally it would move towards the shore, but a simple snap kept it where it was. This was the most difficult part of the hunt, the part that would take the longest. Time would be their aid here. Laying on the ground he watched the elk shiver, the cold slowly seeping into it's muscles. They'd been here for some time, occasionally pacing, mainly just laying around and waiting.

The elk tried to move again, it's movements more slow. Tharin looked over to Kiara, seeing if she registered the movement as well. The day had done it's job. Time had inched passed, but it looked like they would finally be able to tear it down and kill it. Weak enough to be unable to fight from the cold, the elk would be dead within minutes of allowing it on the shore. His tail wagged, eager to bring the hunt to a close.
