Her eyes were on the ground as he spoke. Tharin hoped she'd understand. He wasn't doing this to worry her or anything. His ears flicked back, or at least the ear that he had remaining did. The other one he could feel what remained twitch a little, almost as if there was a ghost ear there. Kiara's proud form was very admirable. Tharin knew that she was a tough girl, one ready to take on the world. Being the subject of this fierceness was a little intimidating.
Pushed on the hip Tharin took an uncertain step forwards. Looking over at Kiara he knew that he could just lock his legs, and she wouldn't be able to move him. Her words were enough for him though.
