Moss had been relatively busy lately helping Terra with her two freshly born pups. The young mother needed time to rest from the energy filled balls of fur who were in need constant need of a watchful eye. That's what he was there for. He also hunted for her and her children and watched them when needed and he enjoyed every bit of it. Moss loved helping Terra and being around her two handsome boys. But, Moss needed a break every now and then too and when the mother slept with her puppies in tow, the orange wolf-dog left for some time of his own. But, even as he spent some with himself he was constantly thinking about the woman and her pups.

Today Moss was in search of something useful for them, besides food. He wanted to find something thoughtful for the young woman that she could use to help with the puppies and possibly make things easier on her. The man trotted through the forest in Lupus form, his least favorite form, though it accomplished the simple goal of getting from one place to another quickly. He wasn't exactly sure where he headed and let his nose lead him through the trees. Many scents started to fill his nose, musty old scents from decades ago. Those scents told him that he were coming onto an old human civilization. This was the perfect place to find something the mother could put to use. A smile spread across his maw as he picked up speed, his pit bull muscles carrying him effortlessly through the forest. His tongue hung out of his mouth happily as he bounded over the landscape.

The gentle giant entered the old town where a lot of the buildings were old and nearly falling a part, but a lot of them were in tact and in livable condition. This made him wonder if someone possibly had lived her. His nose rose to search the air and what he found was interesting. There were several old scents wafting around, possibly the remnants of an old wolf pack. But, he couldn't be sure of that as there were no longer any residents here. One scent stood out among all the others, fresh. There was someone in this town, a female by her scent. Moss's tail started to wag behind him and he trotted in the direction of the wolf's scent, ears at attention on top of his orange rustle furred head. His head swung from side to side as he looked around, keeping himself alert for danger. These places were the worst places to be. Rogue luperci liked to hide out in old buildings like these instead of the forest. Moss would know about that being a loner himself.

Mismatched eyes squinted as he looked ahead spotting a wolf like figure and as he got closer he confirmed it. In all situations one needed to be weary so Moss stopped where he was and released a deep chested alert bark in the female's direction. He also didn't want to scare her. Moss was a large bodied canine with thick limbs, toned muscles, and scars littering his muscular body. If one didn't know his gentle personality, they would pin him as a fighter. Though his face said he was calm and kind, welcoming to the stranger. His tail wagged excitedly waiting for a response.
