OOC exit Terra
Skoll's anger was sharp, tinting the air. She could smell it, moving so that her pups were protected by her body, fangs drawn out. She didn't care for this situation at all. What if her pups came to harm because of the incompetence of this new leader? The news that Ayita was hurt shocked the young mother, a painful howl ripping from her. She was as ready to fight as Skoll was, green eyes seeing danger in everything she viewed. She hated this new leader! He brought doubt, and danger. She didn't care for this at all. Amaranth's words only added to her tension, unwilling to move from her position. The pups were no longer on her lap, but on the ground, her body arched over them in a feral position, hackles raised up.
Terra certainly had words to speak. Angry words, challenging the king. Her alpha. She swallowed them down at his presence, still standing arched. He was right. The kingdom was under threat, and he wasn't doing anything to make it better! The screams of a white wolf Terra vaguely knew brought her attention up. She should force her down, make her submit, do something to ensure the safety of her pups. Fear kept her unmoving however, unable to strike out at anyone without leaving the pups helpless. The white wolf left, perhaps the most logical of them all. It was hard for her to tell, but she would remember who that was, learn who she was. It was the only way Terra would be able to continue.
Skoll turned to leave, Terra moving to scoop up her pups and rushing after him. She had to return to the den. She had to make sure her pups were safe. She certainly wasn't going to be going anywhere until their safety was proved. The king's words did not make her feel safe as they once had, and this new leader inspired no confidence. He would have to earn that from the flighty female. Her steps were swift, disappearing from the area, not even bothering to ask if she could leave. The safety of her pups came before that. If need be, she would have challenged the alpha himself for them.
