Lost in the Ages

Would you mind if Siv found her? :o And wheee, this is fun. :3

The wind assaulted her delicate nose and black velvet ears, but Siv was a woman possessed. She was born of this weather, made from it, and no part of her would bow to the storm without due cause. So incensed was she that she overlooked Gale’s defiance, overlooked the obvious anxious need to move in the small wolf. Siv listened to her slave and drew a mental picture of the landscape in her head; and she soon realized just why his terror was quite as terrible as it was. A curse split her lips and she turned to the ranked member (an outsider yet, but still above her slave), took in her slight form and wondered just what it was that Salvia had seen to allow such a frail looking thing into their home.

“His girl is the same color,” she indicated Gale’s pelt by thrusting his arm forward. Then she released him and looked into a pair of eyes almost as pale of those of her daughter. Her expression softened for a moment in understanding, then twisted as a turbulent wind knocked a large branch against the wall they were hiding behind. Underfoot, the ground was sopping. They would not be able to cover much ground with their most valuable senses (scent, hearing) so dulled. Stormily, she looked back to Null and made another physical gesture to communicate her desires. “Stay with him,” she yelled over the wind, and turned to lead them on. They would need to move quickly and split up to cover more ground, and she was more comfortable with the slave accompanied by the small girl than leaving a stranger to look for another stranger.
