awesome!

As he followed her, he could tell that something was different. The way she moved and carried herself. How listless her gaze seemed. All that spark that had been there that first night seemed to have evaporated. Many things could have caused that. Some would be worth his effort to take action on. Some would not. Whatever the reason was, he could only assume that was why she had come to the cold city. Her lack of surprise, or really any reaction, at seeing him only confirmed that.

Unfortunately, he didn't have much news to report from the coyote and hybrid clan. The man he had spoken to had given him more or less nothing. He had been more keen to talk about the war than the individual killings. "Yes and no. Didn't get much information. Am keeping eye on them though." His investigation of Inferni was far from over. The lack of hard facts had only made him more suspicious.

She stared right into his eyes. Or at least where she believe his eyes to be. The she-wolf was more or less on the mark. She had something to tell him or ask him. It was apparent in the way she looked at him. And he had a feeling that it was not some mere trifle. That it was something fairly serious. Well, if he couldn't nail anything on Inferni at the moment maybe this would help. Or at least point him in the direction of something new. "Have something to say?" An empty question, but it appeared she was waiting for it.
