Lexey nodded energetically as the chocolate lass questioned her duties. It pleased her to see that Colibri was genuinely interested in those puppies, unlike the majority of the pack. Those poor cubs were going to need plenty of affection since Firefly and Haku were far from being model parents. Not to mention, Svara was a terrible influence too. Alexey shared Cercelee’s worries; Emwe and Conor were going to need a miracle. “I was actually planning on paying them a visit later on. Would you like to tag along?”

That would explain the blue-eyed woman’s genuine interest for Firefly’s children. But why on earth was she so terrified of her own father?
