In Character

What the hell was going on here? From her vantage point several yards away, Kol's violet eyes laid rather confusedly on a large luperci male mucking about with some planks of wood. It was obvious he was making some kind of structure, but just what the hell was it? Kol and her family had always embraced their ability to shift into a useful optime form; they had even come to appreciate it for the ability it gave them to create things with their unique hands. The Bluet, for instance, spent her free time crafting intricate pieces of ornamentation for her own amusement, several of which adorned her thick redblack mane at the moment. The Stormbringers, however, had never even thought of using those same skillful hands and form to create anything monstrous. As the werewolf watched the male from her shadowed spot, his task took on a bit more form, and she began to realize he was making something not unlike the buildings left behind by the humans. It must be some sort of shelter, using the very trees themselves as a part of it. Kol rather liked that particular idea, as it made the structure seem more a natural part of the land rather than an ugly behemoth planting upon it. Of course, that wasn't to say she was giving up her ramshackle house with its cozy rooms and cushions anytime soon.

The ebony female had to admit to herself that her curiosity was quickly replacing the irritation she'd come to this spot with. Being awakened from a peaceful, deep sleep by the incessant and obnoxiously loud sound of banging wasn't exactly the best way to rise for the day. After unsuccessfully shoving a pillow over her head, the shewolf had stormed out of the house she shared with Lexey and followed the sound of the irritating banging. That had led her here, to a surprisingly handsome brute and his unconventional project. Well, she wasn't going to learn anything by simply hiding and watching, and he smelled of Dahlia. A new member then, she wagered. If there was an end to the banging at some point, Kol had to admit she wouldn't be averse to having his sort of eye candy around more often. Smiling a bit mischievously, the lithe female melted out of the shadows and approached the scene.

"Where you raised by deaf squirrels or something?" It only made sense, after all. This strange male seemed to be creating something in order to live in a tree, and the head-ringing banging didn't seem to be bothering him in the least. The girl's comment was thrown at the male mid-swing, and she had no idea if it had penetrated the cone of noise that still seemed to echo around him. The female stood with her hands on her hips, scarred brow raised in expectation of an acknowledgement. Never one to be shy or timid, Kol stood her ground and waited for a response, determined not to go away until she found out exactly what this tree-thing was supposed to be.
