It did not surprise him that a coyote had attacked a member of their pack. It did not surprise him that it was Hybrid, or that the man had gone after a leader. What surprised him was this display; it was not Haku’s usual standard. “He does,” the Aquila offered shortly. “You didn’t just come here for a name, though.” No question.
