She was surprised that he hadn't gone for her tail while she'd been down; if it had happened to him instead of her, she definitely would have taken advantage of it. While she was getting her breath back she thought about this. She considered going for his tail right then and there...but he'd been so nice to her...she just couldn't do it. It was strange for her to think of it, that she didn't want to break the rules and gain the upper hand. Very strange.
Empusa felt the nudge on her cheek and she opened her eyes, the touch bringing her out of her thoughts. "Oui--I will be okay. And you--you are all right too?"
What had started out as a nice day of playing had turned to something a bit more serious--she didn't want either of them to get hurt either. "Maybe we should go someplace else to play?" She asked, standing up, shaking some of the snow out of her short pelt.
