What a curious sight.
"Psst!" came the hissing of Catharsis to her sister. "Psst, Ava, c'mere." She could have sworn she'd seen her sister nearby just a moment ago. When no response came, the pup turned, but her mismatched eyes didn't meet the earth-tone fur of her sibling. Shaking her head, she turned back towards the strange sight she'd found. What an odd tone! What curious markings! Catharsis was sure that she'd never seen anything like this in her life, however short that may have been thus far. "How wondrous," she reflected, watching the blue and black move and meld. What could do such things to a wolf, to make one such a colour and pattern as this?
Creeping up slowly, Catharsis stopped just behind the female, off to her left, and tilted her head. "Your fur.. how curious! How'd ye do that?!" The German was soft in the throat of the young girl, filled with wonder and awe. No matter how much she tried, she could not figure even one way that a wolf would have these colours. Had she been born with them? No, of course not - wolves weren't blue, and didn't have such markings! Could Catharsis get such beautiful art as this, on her own fur? She surely hoped so! How fabulous it would be, to be as wonderful and odd as this female. Smiling, she began to introduce herself. "I am Catha--" cut off the introduction, then began again, "Be Catharsis de Sadira. Near Cercelee. See odd. Likes! Give?" Her statement was punctuated by a nod towards the female's coat. She hoped she would be understand the request to be given a beautiful coat like that. After all, if this female could have one, shouldn't Catharsis also be able to get one? Maybe she could get one today! Oh, what a wonderful idea. Mama would be so proud of her, she would forget all about the bad eye!
As an afterthought, she asked, "Who?"
