She was a D'angelo, after all, and a distant cousin to the leader...but she wasn't Naniko's pup and hadn't been born here. Addison didn't mind lying to get her way, using whatever information she could. She smiled sweetly at the adult, her small tail wagging. He was being really nice, telling her that he would show her to wherever she wanted to go. Maybe she would come back this way someday, and run into him again when she was a bit older. Hmm. Addi jumped up and down with excitement, nodding enthusiastically. She wanted to find her way back home to Phoenix Valley, and he would help her. Maybe they would find some kind of an adventure along the way, too! The girl started off into the woods, then looked back at him. Was she going the right way?
