Yes, that sounded like a fine idea to Jesile. At least the part about catching something and sharing it, because he couldn't think of a single thing to talk to the other boy about. He had been getting more and more accustomed to being alone, and had become quieter than he had once been. He was slowly coming toward the verge of adulthood, or feeling as though he was, and the questions he had were fading into the background while a slightly more reserved, thoughtful disposition was beginning to emerge. It was the era of discovering things for himself rather than seeking the outlook of someone else. Still, there was nothing wrong with talking, but then again, he had no idea he was being played either.

"I'd be happy to help," he replied with a smile, his enthusiasm admittedly just a little restrained.
