Hemming's gaze turned to the direction in which the female pointed, but saw nothing. He hadn't heard of Spirit Guides before, and the idea was quite strange to him. Was she pulling his leg? He smiled softly, staring into the grass as he mulled over her words. "Ah. So they're... animals? That somehow belong to you? I'm afraid I'm a bit fuzzy on the concept." The male looked back up to her, eyebrows raised in curiosity.

This place just kept getting stranger and stranger, and Hemming found it quite exciting. Compared to his previous pack, there was a lot more to do and his tribemates and neighbours were much more interesting. Having some kind of constant companion would be odd to the male, who was used to solitude, but perhaps it would be nice to have someone that was always there to bounce ideas off of.
