chaos becomes the child

Zana had skittered down the path hastily, knowing that the other girl was following her, but not realizing that there were some holes in her plans. When Halo actually spoke up of these holes Zana stopped dead in her tracks and turned to stare at the girl for a moment. Her eyes trailed forward towards the distant boneyard as she tried to think. Finally it hit her as a smile spread across her lips. "We can get a sack to put them in at my den before entering the boneyard." It was a bit of a distance from the den to the yard but she knew that atleast with a bag that would keep Halo from being eaten alive.

Zana picked up her pace once more and shifted her movements towards the dens, the winding path that lead to the home took then there quickly and Zana darted within the darkened mouth of the cave and returned quickly with one of the sacks that she used to collect things from the shore. Smiling up at Halo she tossed the other girl the bag and chuckled. "Hurry now, or they'll be able to mass.." She knew that if the rats were able to gather that they would be in real trouble, getting to them before they realized what was going on was the only way to go at it.

When they reached the outskirts of the boneyard Zana turned towards Halo and gave her a wicked grin, waiting to see what the woman thought of their creepy hunting grounds.
