we think we live forever

Intrigued the boy remained by this curious man, wondering as to what had caused his initial interest in the pale creature. Hunger struck his eyes when the youth dared glance toward them, a shade of brilliant blue broken by the strange desire that filled them. He may have feared this bizarre sight, had thoughts of death entered his mind. But Jael was apathetic, allowing whatever will happen to happen--though that wouldn't prevent him from trying to take down the other man with him if it came to it. His voice rang out, bringing with it a name obviously unfamiliar to the wolf and a question that would steadily become more and more commonplace as long as he remained with the coyote clan.
"I have family with Inferni. It's the only family I know of that lives," Jael replied softly, still eyeing the chocolate wolf as he eyed him back. His wolfen family remained unknown, if even his mother lived any longer or if she had any relations in the world. He'd been young the last time he'd laid eyes on his snowy dame, and had yet to hear even a whisper of her existence since they'd parted ways.
