Sorry for the crappy writing (I blame it on the hour), but this looked lonely.

He had been left behind now. Forgotten for the most part. At least, as much as her heart would let her. She had decided to move on now, regardless of Jefferson’s words. The boy hadn’t come to talk to her after Ryan’s multiple visits outside the borders, so she figured why bother? She couldn’t deny that thoughts would slip into her mind every once in awhile, but she was doing much better to push them aside. Her focus was upon Inferni and her daughter. Valkyrie was becoming much more independent and Ryan had more free time on her hands. She was trying her best to carry out those duties which had become her responsibly. What with the issues with DaVinci and trying to raise a child, the young Inferni woman had started to let her clan obligations slip.

More rain, but that didn’t stop hearts from wandering by their borders. She was determined to get her mind set on the right track again, and so she had set off from the caves in order to do what was necessary. She traveled in only her purple dress, leaving behind a cloak as the clouds seemed to be thinning. Everything shimmered with a thin layer of moisture, but at least a thick fog wasn’t suffocating them. Ryan had remained close to her den yesterday to avoid such dismal weather.

The woman didn’t seem as if she belonged there, but it was possible that Gabriel could have allowed her inside. "Can I help you?" Ryan wondered about her – she didn’t seem to have any coyote blood at all. Despite that, Ryan was jealous of those gorgeous emerald eyes and the fiery locks that framed them. Aside from her mother and Savina, this was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen.
