He was content with that she would be able to believe his words. Haku had always been a wild and dangerous beast, but he had always had his positive traits as well. In the past, it could almost be said that he was incapable of direct lies. It was more that he was not particularly afraid of admitting some things that others would rather keep quiet about. He had always been decent at taking the proper responsibility for his actions. However, things were slowly changing. It was not possible to spot this on his sleek outside, but perhaps it would soon. This was not a proper lie either, not fully at the moment at least. In Haku’s mind, Svara had received just what she had deserved all along. Hell, she deserved more in his opinion, but that train had come and gone. Both leaderships in the two packs were well aware of this situation and Haku knew that he would not get this chance again. Not in the closest future at least. He could accept that. However, the method he used in his ‘punishment’ was seen as unnecessary, cruel and wrong in other individuals’ eyes. That was why Lillith had been dragged into the dark secret and a stronger reason for the attack forged. It was Haku’s first attempt to scheme, to twist the truth. It was becoming all too clear to him that yes, he was actually slowly changing into something else. Perhaps someone else. A being that was merging together with pure darkness. Perhaps Cwmfen’s father had been able to detect something. Perhaps that was why they had not fought to the death.

He could agree to the delicate woman’s words, but Haku was an impulsive creature. He was more often than not unable to stick to such a wise suggestion. When the rage boiled, the voice could not be ignored. He did the things he did because he needed it in order to live and breathe. At the mentioning of what Svara might do in the future, the male raised his eyebrows ever so slightly, finding the thought more amusing than threatening in its nature. How the hell would the red female do something like that? Her pack should soon enough realize exactly how reckless and useless the young woman truly was. Then what? Where would she find the power to scheme such an attack. He was not at all worried that she might find support in Inferni. Perhaps if she was not a part of the negotiation team, then maybe. He did not know the Aquila of Inferni, but he believed that the doggish hybrid would not lower himself down to Svara Thames’ level in any way. If she finally came after him to attempt to punish him for having done what was in his right to do then he would make sure that he would at least snap her neck before he went down. If that could be done, then fuck the rest. He did not fear death. When it was his time, he would welcome it and welcome it with open jaws.

She came with additional advice and he nodded courtly, figuring he could give that a try. However, if he was to meet her ugly, scarred face one on one again: then that would be it. She would be no more. He had no more comments, and when she wondered if that was all the male only nodded, reassuring her that: yes, that was it. Perhaps he could manage to drift into sleep again. Perhaps not. The secui kept his gaze on the woman, wondering if she had anything more to say before it was time to leave. He hoped not.
