the song remains the same

Asariel's green eyes opened and she blinked tiredly as a howl reached her ears. She sighed softly and rolled off of her side, leaves and small bits of debris clinging to her fur. Oh, what was it this time? Tiredly, the she-wolf pushed herself to her paws --this time she was in her lupus form-- and started padding towards the source of the sound. Maybe it was another pack hunt, who knows? She meandered through the wet forest, the smells of damp and rotting vegetation and the sounds of small critters scurrying through the ground reached her ears. She loved her home, though it had its pros and cons.

The wolfess finally arrived at the source, blinking in mild confusion as she saw Jefferson, Ty, and two others that she hadn't seen before were gathered. "Jefferson?" she said quietly to herself, then she found herself making her way over to Ty. "Hello Ty," she said warmly, "Any ideas as to the occasion?" The woman was indeed at a loss for what could be going on. A pack meeting? Maybe Jeff was putting together another pack hunt? She kept her thoughts to herself as her eyes roamed around the small clearing, damp as it was.

Rain was such a pain.
