Despite everything, Merilin is a happy, kind creature, perhaps even naïve. She never ceases to see the best of things. She still acts quite young, always the puppy, never seeming to grow and mature in that aspect. She can be silly, but she can also be just as serious and focused as anyone else. She’s a bit timid around the males, having never had a strong relationship with any males in her family. Curiosity often gets the best of her, and no matter what, she can usually find something to say. Perhaps her personality can best be described through the flitty, boisterous, and energetic qualities of a bird, from which she gets her name.

Merilin has the coloring of a normal coyote, though it contains more russet tones. Her eyes are a bright, cheerful blue hue which seem to always smile. She is of a lithe build, perhaps smaller than the average coyote and she is still quite young to begin with. Somewhere on her head, covered by fur is a small scar.
