Charon wasn't totally unaccustomed to creatures like this one, though he'd never seen one that was so colorful and carried such a strange, chemical odor. It made the wolf's pale nose wrinkle, and he blinked, staring into the darkness at the cow for a moment as the creature did the same. There was only blank dullness in the creature's face, and no recognition for a long moment as the cow simply stared forward and Char did the same, two total idiots locked in an eternal staring contest until something changed. The painted ungulate charged for the wolf, and the big silver wolf gave a shout and darted out of the way, heading right for the tiny building and scaling up to the roof without second thought. His limbs were shaking with fear and adrenaline as he sat up on the roof, peering anxiously down at the angry creature. He peered over the edge of the building's roof, indigo eyes seeking the massive cow with his big, deadly-looking horns. Char sure hoped he wouldn't get speared by one of those; they'd kill him for sure. He crouched down a little more, his azure gaze focused squarely on the agitated animal. |
