Asariel couldn't suppress a dry chuckle as Jefferson told her to 'ditch the sir'. Asariel indeed had felt a bit silly addressing him as such, but she'd felt the need for formality. He was her leader after all, and leaders should be treated with utmost respect. She lowered herself onto her haunches and watched the old brute. She wondered how he had come to be Phoenix Valley's leader; how's he come across all his injuries? Countless battles, perhaps. Maybe just one. Victim of abuse perhaps? She huffed and decided to just let herself relax, smiling at Jefferson as he spoke.
