If Kaena had laughed at her granddaughter’s appearance just now, the possibility creating a hell of a scene was more than likely. Although she doubted that any other being held more of her respect and love than Kaena Lykoi, Halo’s temper could not always be controlled. Halo was close enough to see the lack of complete elegance and strength as the older woman rose. Crimson eyes instantly narrowed, yet still glowing with fire burning within. Fire brought to life by those chaotic genes that had brought her to Inferni in the first place.
There were words that wanted to be spoken, but the girl’s teeth grinded together with unnecessary strength. The woman did of course mention the weather and grin that grin, but the girl’s mind was impossible to touch now. The girl stepped into the cave and out of the rain. She crouched down on all four and shook her fur fiercely before rising again to look at the woman in front of her. Eyes found every new scratch and tear. The grimace forced its way into her facial expression when she saw the shoulder, and her hands flew up to cover her mouth as she gasped. For now she was completely taken by surprise. Consuming anger would come later. ”What happened!” The tooth necklace hanging around her neck was completely forgotten.
