It seemed that she wouldn't have to try very hard later on...he had some things set up already. And it was obvious to her now that he planned on them staying the night here, together, instead of going back to join the others. "Yeah. I know we were supposed to visit your family last fall...I never did thank you for staying with me while I was sick.
