So why don't you sing to me

Her whole body tensed as Heath mounted Stark, his muscular form right behind hers. They were so close. There was no way she could move without touching him...not that she wanted to move, of course. Almost immediately after she tensed up, the sensitive optime relaxed just enough to let her back rest against Heath's strong abdomen, her head resting against his chest. Her muscular, but slender, legs held her steady atop Stark's back, although it was doubtful Heath would let her fall. They were barely out of the barn but she was already loving this whole horseback riding thing. She couldn't wait for Heath to teach her more. Each step Stark took felt so soft and gentle while still emphasizing the power and strength of his form. It was a wonderful, multi-sensory experience for the blind girl. She could hear each of Heath's breathes and each of Stark's steps. She could smell the fascinating, new aroma of the stables, and Heath's familiar, somewhat intoxicating scent. And, of course, she could feel everything. Her hands ran down as far as she could reach on Stark's neck and sides, feeling the muscles beneath the skin and soft, fur along with the long wispy hair of his mane. Of course, one need not mention that she could feel Heath. It would have been impossible for her not to.

For the first few moments, Ruri was so absorbed in the experience that she blocked out Heath's voice for just a moment, until she realized what she was doing and immediately paid attention. Where did she want to go? She sat up a bit and thought, a puzzled look on her face as she wondered where one might go while on a horse. Then...a thought came to her, "Could we go to the beach?" she questioned curiously. Were horses allowed to go on the beach? She assumed so as Jac had walked with little Rue along the beach to get to her cabin, but Rue was so little. The slender collie girl had no idea if adult horses were able to walk on sand or not. She would certainly love it if they could ride to the beach. Imagining the sound of the waves combined with the rest of this already wonderful experience would make this day even more perfect, if that was possible.
