Boys were sneaky! She had learned this when Uncle Ehno had snuck up on she and Amata and scared them a while ago. At the time she had said that Gotham would never be so mean and sneaky. She still didn't think he was mean at all, just sneaky and wanting to trick her. Well, she had changed too and she wasn't going to let him just get away with it! So much of her puppy energy had been sucked dry when she had been sad that it seemed to all burst out every once and a while. Cambria had to admit she liked it when it did. In those times she never felt sad or scared or bad in any way. She just felt happy! Feeling happy was the best! She liked feeling happy.
Gotham's funny little roar made her release her grip on his ear as she giggled loudly. What a noise! She had never heard any wolf make such a noise. "Gothawms tryin' to be's a wion?" Lions roared, or so she had heard. They were big, brave animals, and her brother was big and brave (in her eyes) and so the comparison seemed to fit well. Though she was sure that lions sounded much better when they roared. While she was thinking all this Gotham had raised up too and now they were both on their hind legs with their forelegs wrapped around one another. He roared some more and laughed too and that made her laugh. The pup's back legs danced around, trying to keep her balance and she shoved her weight against her brother. Chocolate tail wagged in time with the charcoal one of her sibling. She had missed being so happy and playing with her brother. At times like this she never wanted to grow up.
