While she had known about this for a while, this was a new idea for Ehno. Naniko would send one of her birds to him with messages when she moved, and when it came near time for the pups to come. Would he be there for the birth, at least? She was thinking ahead already. She wanted him there, of course...but if he didn't want to come all the way to the Valley she would not make him and she would try to understand and not be hurt by it. "Yeah, I'll head back now. I'll come back and see if Haven's here. Ehno...I'll try and send you messages by using Jack, my bird-friend. He can carry written messages from me to you, and back to me again. I'll keep you updated" She accepted the offer of a walk back by nodding, turning back toward the city. |
