Won't you (get on your knees) have faith

They had been friends for quite some time, and Anu could read the uncertainty that radiated from Savina. The blue eyed woman could understand what might make her feel that way, by the sight of the newcomer. But, she could also look to the strange male and see that there was no true menacing intention in his disfigured form. He was different, and even if it was difficult to understand and communicate with him, he wasn't bad.

Ready to know what the note said, Anu watched Savi take it and speak the written words.
“I think he can read our lips.” She commented as she looked back to the masked male who seemed to be agreeing with all of what they had to say.
“Your Hoosk?” She spoke with a small smile, remembering that he tried to tell her something like that. He needed a place to stay, Anu figured. A safe haven, where no one could take advantage of his loss of hearing and his childlike mind.

Face turned back to Savi, “He needs a home.” She stated, still uncertain but not about that fact.
