Listening to Angel's judgment on the elk, Ty nodded. It made sense to go after the old elk, after all she wasn't going to live much longer anyway. His eyes flicked back between the old elk with a limp and the young elk. Although the young one would most likely be easier to catch, the older elk would provide much more meat for the three of them, they just had to make a team effort to bring them down. Both Ty and Angel were in halflng form, but an elk would still be able to overpower them if they did not work together to take the creature down. Even an elder elk can be a challenge for a pack of wolves, which is why middle age male elk are usually not on the menu, the large beasts can gore a wolf and crush bones, truely despite it's rather dumb look it is no pushover.
However, it was then when they all heard the elk screech, such a horrid sound the beasts made, it was like hearing metal nails grated against a chalkboard. Ty for one winced at it's annoying call, he'd never cared to them, but he had to bear it in order to get a meal. When Angel took off, Ty followed in suit, but not before barking to the other wolf "Hey! New wolf! Run towards it's left flank! Me and angel will push the older elk towards you and into the forest away from the others!"
Ty would in turn burst off at the far right, intending to turn the elk back towards the forest. While he did that, he cut off the older elk's hope of attempting to return towards the pack, and again making a turn towards the forest. Hoping Zynex was now running in a similar formation, Ty began to pursue the elk, now hoping the other two were in good position to triangulate the old elk's position, closing in on it's impending doom.
