They'd both been spotted. Anselm trotted forward briskly now before the other could dissolve into the mist once more. As he neared, however, his steps slowed and he eventually came to a halt at a comfortable distance away. His ruby eyes regarded the smaller hybrid curiously, taking in the details of his form: a dusky, earthy coat and vivid violet eyes that almost didn't seem to match. The other spoke, causing his ears to sweep forward and a bemused expression to plant upon his face. His cousin Corona was the closest he'd ever seen an individual mirror his appearance, and details aside (tattoos, eye colour, etc.), even on an off day he didn't suspect anyone would mistake a male for a woman. The blue-eyed Lykoi hadn't been around since his restatement in Inferni's ranks, though now he couldn't help but wonder as to her whereabouts.

"And who would that be?" he wondered simply, though his gaze had settled upon the strange accessory atop Cassius' head: the goggles. He'd never seen such a thing before, although he could already guess their function--they were made to rest over the eyes. Anselm didn't understand what would necessitate such protection; wasn't that what blinking and looking away was for? Perhaps this man had stumbled upon something interesting. "What do you use those for?" he pressed further, gesturing with his snout to the translucent "eye shields." In this environment they seemed more a hindrance than anything, all fogged up as they were--though he supposed like the morning fog on the window panes of a warm house, they would clear up when the humidity or temperature differential was less. And with that, his thoughts had run full circle--what was up with this place, anyway? He cast a glance back over his shoulder before peering back at the coyote.
