This was still mostly foreign territory to him as well, especially sober. In fact, this was the only time he had ever done anything remotely close to this without alcohol in his system. That was a little depressing, but at least he was moving in the right direction and taking a step forward instead of back. The only other time he had fooled around with a girl had been with Siobhan after the pack party and they hadn’t really done all that much. She had done more to him than he had to her. Princess may have thought that she was more clueless than he was, but it really wasn’t true. All his actions and movements were guided by what felt good, what she reacted to, and what his instincts told him to do. The two young wolves were fumbling through this together.

For now Haven focused on the kiss, though with her body arching against his it was not an easy task. Still, he wanted to take things step by step and not rush into the final consummation. It became apparent that she wanted him to be taking the first steps in this tango and it made him a little nervous. What if he did something she didn’t like? What if inadvertently ended up ruining the mood? He tried to hide these worries as she pulled away and looked into his eyes. For a moment he thought that she was going to say that she didn’t want to do this after all. All of that was blown away though as she kissed him again with a renewed passion. He leaned into their kiss as the hand that had been resting on her hip moved up, pulling her dress along with it. When he reached her ribs he hesitated for a moment or two, then lightly cupped her breast. He had done that their first time, hadn’t he? And she had liked it, or so his foggy memories told him.
