~I'm thinking that Haku will get very badly injured here...as cat-like claws make fighting with fangs extremely dangerous, but that he could successfully open up Brennt's belly and end the fight? If you want the fight to continue, though, feel free to have Haku disengage before he successfully guts my character and before he gets his face slashed to pieces << Your call!
The two were a mess. The flesh of their arms and bodies were shredded where their claws had gripped painfully into one another. The predator's scalp was in ruin, and its foe had suffered severe bruising and possible bone damage through the abuse. The superficial damage it had sustained was greater, but with no breath, there had been stark limits to the strength of its enemy's attacks. Now it intended to finish the job it had started. With the brown wolf breathless and floored, the hunter had sought to finish its attack and end the male's life, but the hole it had made in the wall was too small...not quite large enough for itself, and it took time to squeeze through. Time enough for its enemy to find his feet again.
One wolf cleared the wall just as the other left the floor, but Haku had more strength springing upward than his foe stepping over debris, and the larger form quickly found itself shoved back toward the opening with teeth in its belly. It yelped loudly, hunching over the Dahlian's offending skull, and its claws began to dig furiously at the werewolf's face. A wolf who approached the situation clinically may have grabbed the head with one hand and gone after the eyes with the other, forcing its enemy to let go, but the predator was not a clinical fighter, and fury was as much its own tool as its enemy's. Less efficient, less permanent, but far more brutal, its clawed fingers began carving terrible tracks through its foe-wolf's face. It couldn't pry his jaws from its belly, the pain was terrible and Haku could have kept hold using his own arms. As long as he held the belly, however, his face was in easy reach, and the predator would make him pay for whatever gains he made. The eyes, ears, nose, cheeks...its claws scrambled and gouged indiscriminately.
