Had the man had long-time plans for this place he would have forced many changes upon the pack, but he hadn’t, so it would only have proved to be time-consuming. He had been nearby (as always, for some odd reason) when one of his more loyal followers had howled out a request for his presence. Now he was standing still like the immortal yet lifeless creature he was and looked the new potential follower over. Not a yearling and a male, this made him better than average for the low standards Haku had been forced to create. He could not be terribly picky when all he had to offer was blood and death. He wondered how many would die in the coming months. Rumours whispered that Inferni had grown lately and he prayed for it to be true. This would be a true battle.

He wanted to know who this was and what he wanted, then he would speak his words and leave. He cared little of who were allowed into the pack nowadays, though it was important for him to see their faces and breathe in their scents. He needed to know who were his soldiers no matter how horrible they would turn out to be. Even a hybrid of Lykoi blood had been let into the pack. Why? Because he needed lives to sacrifice and the thought of Lykoi versus Lykoi amused the beast greatly.
