To the leader, the pariah,
The victor, the messiah,
This is war.

Daisuke had been watching his friend like a hawk, only leaving the other male twice over the last three days, to get some food. This was the second time he had left, and he had been digging out some rabbit holes, actually scoring two rabbits before he started to head back. He hadn't gone too far from the den that he had left his injured friend in, and he also figured that the male would be fine because his wounds had already been cleaned and scabbed over. He had redressed the wounds twice over the days, keeping a fresh set of bandages on them. Well, blanket material actually, but the fabric was pretty clean and he doubted that it would infect the wound (and he was right because there had been no infection that he could see). So on his way back from the hunt, he held the rabbits by their ears as he walked along back to the den. The golden dragon had been anxious to get back to the den that still was not too far off, but he was anxious because he was leaving the other male for this short amount of time, and just about anything could happen in this time, either it be a Dahlian wolven taking advantage of the wounded Infernian, or just the other male going into shock and his own body attacking the organs and his body just completely shutting down. Either way, Daisuke felt like his mind was going to burst with worry every time he had left.

His walk turned into a flat out run very quickly because of this nagging feeling he had in his head. It had only taken him a good 3 minutes to run up to the cave entrance, and he whined lightly as he saw his friend still with his eyes closed. Daisuke put the two rabbits next to the embers of the fire that had once been burning to keep the cave warm. When he had left, it had been low, but without anyone to put in a new log and to fan it, it was quick to diminish. He wouldn't have done it before he left, just in case of embers flying and landing on flammable fabric. He didn't want to burn his friend alive, nor his pet since Schwarz had stayed behind.

Daisuke had approached his friend, his right audit pinned against his head still, the pain had been still going through the bitten part every once any awhile, especially when he had tried to lift it from it's pulled back position. Since he had put the rabbits down, he also fell down to all four legs as he approached his friend whom was laying down, eyes still closed. Once Daisuke was over him, he snuggled his head into the other's neck and let out a loving whine as a greeting to his friend. He couldn't help but do so, since his friend had been hurt, and he cared deeply for his friend. Daisuke pulled away a second later and looked down at Snake. "Snake...When will you wake?" he asked, his voice slightly sad as he asked the question.
