It was rare for one to be turned away from the clan anyway, but the coyote woman had to make sure she knew the newcomers' skills so she might better fit into the ranking system later. This was part of her job, and one she took quite seriously—the hybrid knew Inferni's success depended on the teamwork within the clan, and if everyone was well-accustomed to their assigned jobs, the clan as a whole ran far more smoothly.
