BABY BRUDDER HAKU.

He'd taken too long to make a visit to Dahlia de Mai. With the war raging outside his packlands, Jefferson had been hesitant to leave Phoenix Valley at all, fearing he'd return to ashes and ruins. Inferni was unpredictable, and although they were clearly distracted by the war and putting all focus into it, the cyclops couldn't help but worry that his home would somehow end up involved or thrown into the mix by a stray coyote looking for a fight. Jefferson had been lucky to free Addison from Halo way back when, but now that his daughter had up and moved to Dahlia, the cyclops could only worry he wouldn't be able to the next time it happened.

Geneva had assured him that the pack would be fine, and ultimately he had to trust her. There was no point endangering her or his fellow members by dragging them along. Besides, the cyclops was a decent enough fighter -- he'd taken Gabriel head-on and managed to win despite his handicaps and whatnot. It was well and good the cyclops was left alone most of the time, as fighting took a lot out of him though when he was given the opportunity, the brute was deceptively good. He wasn't expecting a fight when he arrived at the Dahlian borders, but with the tenseness of the war, Jefferson was expecting a tense scout or two ready to question him.

He was prepared for their pressure. After all, he led Phoenix Valley with all the confidence he had -- and the cyclops had an obligation to ensure the welfare of his daughter. No, he couldn't drag Addison back home, but he could find out what she knew. Rolling his shoulders, the brute briefly pulled at the sling over his shoulder to make it more comfortable before lifting his head and sending a calm, non-intimidating howl to the wind. It was warm, sunny. He posed no danger being here.
