The snow colored male watched with fond, blue eyes as the surroundings became so much more clear and familiar. He had never expected to bring his family back to the lands, but it was well time that his young son knew exactly where his family came from. With a smile, Lisichka reached out and nudged the little boy's rump, before turning his attention to his lovely, lovely bride. Gods, how he adored them. Everything about them screamed perfection. Their perfect health, their family's soaring happiness, it gave the Sadira male a reason to breathe. He had changed since leaving the lands of bleeding souls. He had changed since his mother's death too. Ceres Sadira had been his idol, and since she was gone....there was no point to call Clouded Tears home.

The more they told their son of Clouded Tears, the more he seemed to want to know. And Lisichka, after talking it over with Konane, they had decided to go back. Maluki, troublesome child that he was, might have left already. Or was he even still there when Lisichka had left? It was hard to say. His only worry was that his own children, Mew, Haku, and his beloved Melisande, might have left. His face grew a bit more stern as he caught the scent of his homelands. Well, at least he was home. For better or worse. He sat down as they reached the border, ready to wait for ages. It still smelled like his cousin, like Laruku. Well my dears, this is it... He murmured softly, his tail curling around his paws neatly.

I have known of ‘Souls for a very long time =)

The child’s tail wagged as his father’s nose came in contact with his, too, ashen rump. With two white parents, it was only natural that the youngster would resemble them greatly. The only things out of place about him were the few careless smudges of brown that were splattered over his slender body in a few places. It was as if the gods had accidentally dripped paint and tarnished his otherwise ghostly appearance. A paw, an ear, and a curious splotch on his haunch were the only traces of color, other than sparkling blue eyes, also an inheritance.

So this was home, or was going to be soon enough. That’s what his parents said. This was the place where the vapor touched everything. Was it benevolent or was it the stuff of ghost stories? The pup couldn’t wait to find out. Adventurous, bold, and with a (dangerous?) curious streak, Tybalt was ready for the adventure of a lifetime. The names and events of his father’s past (the parts he’d been told) slid across his mind in a blur, similar to the blur the trees, ground, and general landscape were making for his eyes as he looked around in a rush.

Oversized paws had taken him this far; he was finally beginning to grow into his skin. In the coming months he would develop into a mature wolf, at least bodily. There was something about his personality that wasn’t likely to grow out so easily. He was at that impressionable age where cuddles with Mom were becoming less ‘cool’ but still cherished, and he still secretly thought his father was God. The world around him was leaving imprints on his mind, and he looked forward to growing up in the same place that his parents had lived before. If they thought it a good place to make their home, obviously he would follow, like it or not.

Tybalt imitated his father, sitting neatly next to the pale wolf and looking around to grin at his mother. “Do we have to wait long?” he asked inquisitively, “I thought they all knew you here.”
