The Constable was certain that Ayita would have told him if her daughter had gained the ability recenty, but he knew that rauma could trigger it when the age was right. Amaranth and Kable were both of the age when shifting usually began to occur, and he supposed that he should be expecting it to happen soon. Vigilante sat beside her, his body much more calm now, knowing that he would need to be supportive of her now, since it was bound to be confusing for her.
