For Heath!!!

The large friesian stallion thundered around the edges of the large round pen whose normal uses was for lunging and other such training with the horses. The horse bucked and kicked as he galloped. Cutting across the almost arena like area. Obvious was the absence of a tall optime trainer in the center of the ring. Perhaps more obvious still was the hulking secui form that charged after the stallion. Teeth and Hooves missing their targets by scarcely inches. The sound of thundering hooves and the snarling wolf had stirred up a few of the horses in the stalls when the episode had first started, but most seemed to have settled now. The black horse taughted the large, fanged beast, prancing boastfully as he fled out of range. Often returning the charge of the wolf with one of his own.

Anann had started to fall into a bit of a funk the last few days. Having repaired most of the saddles that had been in need of repair and any of the other tack as well. She had found herself with more idle time than she like, it was enough to give her time to think. To miss things, people. To second guess everything she had done and everything she was doing. Homesickness and thoughts of regret had held a dark cloud over her the past few days and Rem had had enough of it! At first he had simply nudged her roughly with his large head or swatted her with his tangled waterfall of a tail. When that didn't get the desired response he had resorted to nips and bites.

It wasn't until he had left a large goose egg on her shoulder that she had granted the warhorse with the response he desired. Sick of her delay in training. A bit of rain and mud was not enough to stop him and he would remind her of that! The large horse had regained much of the weight he had lost in the trip. Much like he fussed over her, Anann fussed over the great stallion. Making more of his slightly ribby frame than there had needed to be. It was time they both began to tone the muscles that had long since grown slack. One that knew the beasts might clearly see that look of playful joy on the stallion and the angry look of annoyance on the dark secui.
