Shut Up & Let Me Go [m]

His life had been such an insignificant one, filled with fear and pain and suffering. But it had all been minimal, and Minos had worked hard to keep it so. All his submissive tactics had been to keep those that could hurt him away. It had worked, all of it had let him live a life filled with relative peace. Until he had come here. It was a poisoned land, tainted with bad blood. It had been appealing at first, but then the pleasantries of a powerful alpha and secure border fell apart. His blood had been tainted, and it had been the one he thought would protect him in exchange for his obedience. None of it had been enough, and his world had been turned upside down.

The insignificance ended, the weak follower fell to another who's honor and valor was far greater then his own. His body jarred and stopped only as it's weight fell against the other male's body. A gasp came to his throat, and a long thin breath escaped the wolf as his lungs deflated. Life faded from his eye, almost instantly. It hung open, paralyzed as it looked into the green gaze of the male below it. There was nothing to be said for the life of beast that died, nothing to be remembered, nothing to be wishfully forgotten. It took him until his death to move anyone, to make a difference and to change another's fate.
