It was difficult for him to make out any kind of details at the moment, and so he did not see her teary golden eyes, but he could feel the remorse that was radiating from her form. When she spoke he merely shook his head again. No, there was nothing for her to apologize for. "No...don't be...not...your fault. Just...glad that...you're fine." This sort of thing had been a long time in coming. Haven had faced a few scuffles, but they had never been anything serious. He had never faced anyone that hadn't ran, that hadn't backed down. He knew that he would eventually though, and it seemed today had been that day. Even through the fog of his injuries and blood loss though, he felt a certain validation. He could protect the pack. He could fight to save those he cared about. His title wasn't empty, and now he knew for certain he was up to the task.

Haven was relieved that there wasn't any arguing on her part, he knew how stubborn Princess could be, but certainly she understood the gravity of the situation. It had nothing to do with him not believing she could help it, he just knew that he was in severe enough of a condition that he needed help from someone who had training. The Knight had watched Alaine tend to Firefly and he knew that the woman was skilled. It was her assistance that he needed now. Wordlessly Haven nodded his head and with effort managed to stand, however unstably, on his own two feet. He rested a hand on Princess' shoulder, not wanting to put weight on her until he had to. The two started at a slow and staggered pace towards the hotel, Haven's breathing ragged, hoping that all would be okay.
