The rest of the world would be content knowing the Attila Aston he chose to show around them, but only his mother and a few spare others would see the snowed boy at his core. Anatole and Aurèle were different: not quite mother and son, but not quite acquaintances, either. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he wasn't sure how much sentimental affection there was in that relationship. No hate, for sure, but...
