Hallo!
She was enjoying herself today, that was for sure. Ember had her spirit guide back and everything was going great for her. It seemed like her life had taken a turn for the better, for once. Today she was playing a game, chasing a pair of squirrels through the treetops. The little critters were very evasive and hard to catch, and she enjoyed testing her skills against them. She had been able to catch them on the ground, but had released them and let them go up into the trees to see if she could catch them up there as well.
The green eyed warrior leaped from large branch to branch, the weapons on her belt tinging together with each landing that she made. This was hard! The animals were fast. She was trying to move one step ahead of them...but no. As soon as she thought she had them they were gone.
Ember didn't realize that she was getting out toward the border until she heard a voice. This startled her a bit; she had thought that she was the only one out in this area. She looked around a few times to be sure that it wasn't a treetop animal talking before focusing her gaze on the ground. Hmm. There was definitely someone there. She cleared her throat, leaping a few branches down. "Hullo down there! What're you doing on the ground?" She asked. Were they hurt?
