The words that came tumbling from the golden male were unfamiliar and for a moment Silas was unsure of what to say. "Не понимаю", he mumbled to himself, raising an eyebrow at the other in search of some clarification. It was obvious that Cotl too had a mother tongue that was not that of the natives here, but it was not the sounds of the Russians that Silas heard. Instead, the words came out harsh and unfamiliar, but most likely some foreign neighbor. Yet the male’s next words were slightly more comprehensible. Picking them apart, Silas concluded that his name was Cotl Ulrich and his rank among the clan was Imaginifer. Not so hard, once he took a second to decipher; unaware his situation must have been much the same for those few unfortunate souls to have spoke with Silas when he had first stepped off the ship.

"Da, I ‘ave seen you around here. Nice to meet you." Ever since Silas had spent more and more time amongst these English speaking hybrids, his speech had improved and his accent had lessened. However, there were still plenty of words and sounds Silas would cling to, but that was only old habits dying hard. His icy gaze traveled to the gas mask as Cotl held it out in offering. A mischievous grin stole his features when he realized it was some sort of smoking mechanism. "How does eet vork?" The boy was all ears, curious to find out more about Cotl and his gas mask just as long as he was willing to share.
