Rurik was still getting used these packlands, but already he was in love with them—there was more ocean and coast than he knew what to do with here! He had spent all of his free days around the ocean, playing and splashing in the water and sprawling across the sand. He remembered fishing for his new packmates and how fun that had been—Rurik was certainly enjoying the atmosphere of this new pack. It was just perfect, by his standards—laid back, lots of ocean and water, friendly packmembers! Even another Russian. She had been rather pretty, and so had Niro—then again, Rurik found women almost universally pretty. There wasn't a whole lot that turned him off, but every now and again he found a gem.

The scent of just such a gem wafted over the wind, catching his attention immediately. What was she doing here? Not that he minded, of course, it was just a complete and utter shock to smell Rikka de le Poer on these packlands here. The silver-furred werewolf trotted forward, intent on tracking her down. He peered up and down the coast, trying to track movement—he saw nothing. There was just a little old shack—maybe there? It was the only place he could see. Trotting forward quickly, the cloud-colored male appeared rather curious, peering this way and that. “Rikka?” he asked, surprise sounding clearly in his voice.
