“Yes” she replied, hesitating slightly. Although she didn't want to try and remedy this problem by removing all blame from herself, there really only was so much she could do. Like she mentioned to Nayati, creatures had a strange habit of disappearing suddenly. Though, given the frequency of these occurrences, it wasn't really strange anymore. Tayui had even started to think of it as commonplace. Somehow, that thought hurt more than she thought it would. It was like she was growing complacent or just apathetic. Both would be bad; she didn't want to lose her feelings.
